2 Cor 3 ~ Ephesians 2 ~ Colossians 2 ~  Listen to Audios

Is it true that a believer in Yeshua is not supposed to follow the Torah? What did Paul teach in his letters? In 2 Peter 3:15-16, Peter says this about Paul: “As also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which unlearned and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.” Who are those that are unlearned? Those that don’t know the Torah. How do the words of Paul get twisted to their own destruction? By coming to the conclusion that you are not supposed to follow the Torah by the Spirit.

1 John 3:4 states: Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.”

Lawlessness = without the Torah, breaking the Torah. By definition, if you transgress the Torah, you sin. It makes no sense to say that we should not sin, and then say we shouldn’t follow the Torah. Sinning is transgressing the Torah.
